Corvan

Mara sat criss-crossed on the oversized couch, like a sexy, curvy Buddha. Her fork clinked around in a bowl, bringing together the last bits of food to her mouth.

“Was it enough food?” Corvan asked from the kitchen.

“No,” she sighed, “but it’s okay. I could stand to eat a little less.”

This made Corvan huff. He never liked when Mara self-deprecated in this way. He walked around the couch, leaned over Mara causing her to look up at him. He softly pinched her chin, ran his thumb across her bottom lip, leaned in close and whispered, “Don’t let yourself go hungry, Pretty. Eat.”

Corvan kissed her lips, taking her bottom lip between his and sucked it seductively. A moan escaped Mara’s throat and she swallowed hard as Corvan took the bowl from her hands and stood up straight again. Mara felt heat rushing to her face and down her shoulder blades. Quickly she grabbed her jug of water and began drinking as fast as she could.

“I’ll just drink more water.” she sputtered, her heart racing. Corvan smiled to himself walking back to the kitchen, relishing her body’s response to him. “That works, too. I love when we compromise.”
